Barnes And Noble's Recent Nook Wireless Book Reader Confronts Amazon's Electronic Books Reader

Sony corp recently increased the range of their store at the Sony-Store and reduced the price point of their digitally transported books to equal that of Amazons and with a bit of luck B&N, who have always been in the equivalent ballpark price wise, will match them title for title too.
However the main news broadcast for customers has to be the move away from proprietary file formats used by Sony corp. in the early days and even now used by the Kindle2 now.
